British Gardens in Time by Katie Campbell

Last week I received an advance copy of 'British Gardens in Time' by Katie Campbell. This is the accompanying book to the forthcoming television series, presented by Chris Beardshaw. 

However, this book stands alone as an outstanding piece of well researched and remarkably well written piece of garden history, about four of the iconic gardens created in Britain over the last few centuries, Stowe...Biddulph Grange....Nymans and Dixter. Gardens I have myself researched so can testify to the quality of the material Katie has investigated.

An outstanding book within a genre difficult to do well. Katie Campbell shines once again.
